UPDATE: MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP - Rich Weingartner is one of many residents of Meridian Township dedicated to democracy.
He has always wanted to be a part of the election process, and this most recent election, he was a precinct chair.
Weingartner's duties had him preparing at 4:30 in the morning. He says it's not an easy process and often can be stressful, but it's also very exciting for him as well.
