UPDATE:
MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP - King and Itzel opened up a wooded area of Hartrick Park with a gravel path. That part of the park was unavailable to park users until this project. The gravel path also has provided a connection to the Okemos High School playing fields for the men's baseball and women's softball teams.
Scribner built a footbridge for Eastgate Park, a park that often sees seasonal flooding in the spring and fall. The bridge opens up a part of the park that is usually not walkable during these seasons.
The Eagle Scouts are under 18 years-old and raised money on their own to fund the projects.
Jack King had to raise over $6,000 to complete his project in Hartrick Park.
