UPDATE: MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP - "I do a lot of mowing, and also a lot of leaf blowing and also a lot of snow blowing," said Bill Drake, resident of Meridian Township.

"I help not only taking care of my own property but also helping up some of the neighbors as far as their inability to maybe get out and things like that, said Drake.

Drake is a long time resident of Meridian Township and is always giving back.

"We've lived in the Haslett area during the early 70's and I think what's an important part of life is not only taking but also giving back," said Drake.

But don't be fooled. This resident is more than meets the eye.

"When I was a junior at Michigan State, I was working on a building crew as such and one of the people affiliated with that crew also belonged to the Kinawas club. And he said 'Billy! We need a Santa Clause and you look like you'd be the perfect person for that'," said Drake

And as they say...

"And the rest of it's history. This coming season will be the 48th year that I've done Santa Clause," said Drake.

And with that, the Christmas has been solved.

"Well ho ho ho, if you don't know by now little girl your going to be in big trouble when Christmas comes along. I'm the real Santa in Meridian Township," said Drake
