UPDATE:
LANSING - Fall brings that familiar feeling as the leaves begin to change.
"There's a lot of excitement in the air, there's a lot of anticipation in the air," said Katrina Schumacher, co-owner of Westview Orchards.
It's almost natural for Michiganders to make their way to the orchards.
"I'm always looking for something fun to do with my son, and we kinda get into a routine of doing stuff and I wanted to take him to an apple orchard," said Greg Hornsby, orchard-goer.
"As soon as there's a cool night and a sunny day they gotta have cider and doughnuts. So the next things is they gotta go out to the farm and do some experiencing," said Schumacher.
So what keeps people coming back every year?
"They like all the activities the families can do, this that and the other, at their own pace, they really appreciate that," said Schumacher.
One of the big reasons why families come to the orchards, is to visit the petting zoo and feed the animals.
"That was really neat, we fed the animals and it was a really fun thing for them to do, they had never done that before," said Joslyn Wayatt, orchard-goer.
From corn mazes, to hay rides and picking pumpkins; there's plenty to do keep you busy this fall.
