UPDATE:
OKEMOS - "Its completely unique, one of a kind, its a fun place to go, kids love it, adults love it," said Will White, Owner of the Traveler's Club.
"For me personally its a second home, this has been some place that I've always been comfortable coming," said Stan Letts, executive assistant at the Travelers Club.
The Tuba Museum, better known as the Traveler's Club is a one of a kind restaurant that started as an ice cream parlor.
"Its been a restaurant ice cream parlor since 1959 really and we've just been evolving in over 30 years since we've owned it," said White.
The 65 year old restaurant offers a traveling cuisine, specializing in different counties every week.
"We're the only restaurant in the country that does that, and to use local foods and produce foods from around the world is a really unique concept," said White.
Although the future of the Traveler's Club is in question, Will wants to save this historical part of downtown Okemos.
"People want to create new things, but they need to preserve the past so you know where your coming from. And if you lose your past you have no cultural identity," said White.
