UPDATE:
MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP - The civil engineering company, P. Powell Engineering & Associates is planning to construct a new Trilogy Health Services building in Meridian Township. The new Trilogy building will be a 91-bedroom assisted living and skilled nursing care center.
After the Planning Commission's recommendations, minor changes were made to the site plans that went on to be approved by the Township Board at the August 9th meeting.
Meridian Township's Director of Community Planning and Development, Mark Kieselbach, said that the next step is a site plan review, which deals with all the placement of the building, engineering for water and sewer, and landscaping. Once those are approved, then a building permit can be acquired to begin the construction.
While no dates have been set for construction, Powell Engineering could start prepping and possibly begin work before winter, though the major construction will more than likely wait until spring.
