UPDATE: LANSING - Michigan police cracking down on drunk drivers this summer, arresting more then one hundred people for buzzing behind the wheel this fourth of July weekend alone.

Cops pulled over nearly 4,000 drivers around the holiday, arresting 126 for drunk driving. Thats almost half the arrests as last year.

A grant paid for extra enforcement during the holiday.

Police also caught 130 fugitives in the state thanks to the boost in patrolling.
