• Habitat exhibit under construction

UPDATE: MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP - The Harris Nature Center is currently building a new exhibit.

The new habitat exhibit will have different animals including many types of turtles. It features wetland, terrestrial and river habitats, and is constructed to show how all habitats are connected.

"It's this brand new idea that they've come up with and they are building it for the first time here at the Harris Nature Center," said Kit Rich, coordinator at the Harris Nature Center.

The exhibit will be a permanent addition to the Harris Nature Center and is expected to be completed in September.
