OKEMOS - The Capital City Stealth hosted the Canadian Tri City Thunder this past Saturday in their home opener. It was a beautiful day; sunny with temperatures in the mid-70's. Perfect for football.
The Stealth came out of the gates on fire, scoring within the first three minutes on their opening drive. Throughout the game they forced several turnovers, mainly via the interception, and had some hard-nosed special teams play, including a punt return for a touchdown. The game ended at half-time, as the Thunder had sustained several injuries and chose to forfeit rather than continue. The game ended as a 56-0 forfeit victory for the Stealth who improve to 5-2 overall.
