OKEMOS - On April 2nd GymKind Academy officially launched its new gymnastics facility in Meridian Mall near the Launch Trampoline Park.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony took place on opening day, which featured an open free play for registered children and their parents.

GymKind offers a variety of specialized classes for different age groups, featuring gymnastics, tumbling, Ninjanastics (for pre-kindergarten age), and much more.

President and Director of GymKind Academy, Jamie Boyd Hamilton, had this to say, “Our whole focus for GymKind Academy was respecting the importance of the things that bring us together as well as the things that make us unique.”

This location works with many different facilities willing to use this kind of space for events and classes. As director Jamie Boyd stated, “We would love to welcome back our Michigan State University’s club gymnastics team as they were previously a part of Red Cedar Gymnastics program before its closure due to COVID.”
