MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP - Santa flew in from the North Pole to Meridian Township's Service Center on December 14 for the annual Drive-Thru Santa event.
Santa was there from 3:00 pm to 8:20 pm talking with kids, families and pets.
The event registration was booked and became full on December 3. Registration cost $12 per car, and registrants received a present after their visit and photo with Santa.
We had the opportunity to speak with Santa about the event, which he said has been going on for around 20 years.
"It's a great opportunity for kids to feel comfortable on seeing Santa," Santa said. "They don't have to sit on anybody's lap. They just stick their head out the window and enjoy the questions that Santa asks."
