MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP - The final Township Board meeting of 2021 looks to the new year of 2022 and sets goals on what they wish to accomplish. The goals put forth include, infrastructure enhancements, diversity, economic development, community planning, environmental sustainability, facilities parks and grounds, public safety, Township finances, community engagement and retention, recruitment, and well-being.
Frank Walsh, Township Manager gave a presentation shedding light on what the Board wants to achieve in 2022. He also reveals some of the hard work that goes into drafting yearly goals.
"This is about 10-15 hours of work by theĀ Board. The first review of it, and then an all day session last Saturday and then this evening. So this is the third time the Board is looking to receiving or considering their goals."
While the Board looked back on what they achieved this year, they also look to the future and set goals for 2022.
