MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP - The Friends of Historic Meridian held an event at the Meridian Historical Village on Saturday, October 30th to celebrate Halloween in the community.
The event went from 10:00 am - 1:00 pm and was free to the public to attend. Families could bring their children dressed in their Halloween costumes and walk around the village to experience the 19th century life. Residents were also able to take pictures, as well as selfies with their loved ones in front of the school, farmhouse, tollgate house, and log cabin. The General Store was open where treats were given out by Patrick Reynolds, the executive director of the Friends of Historic Meridian and give a little history of the Meridian Village.
