MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP - TinkrLAB celebrated their new business transition with a ribbon cutting Friday, October 29th.
The event went from 11:00 am - 12:00 pm at their new location at 2650 E. Grand River Ave. TinkrLAB originally was in the Meridian Mall and relocated for more space. The company has expanded its business and introduced Tinkr Tots. After the ceremony, a tour was given to show the new child and daycare facility.
“We are finally excited to reopen again at this new location and see our familiar customers come back as well as new ones that didn’t know we were here before," said Melissa Rabideau, the CEO and Founder of TinkrLAB, “With moving, we wanted to enter great the childcare and pre-school portion of what we could do. We had to select it very carefully based on what we could fit in the space and this was perfect for that.”
Rabideau says adding in the child daycare has been absolutely key and also wants to stay true to what TinkrLab is. With the new space, she feels the program can do a lot of projects based on where they’re going in the future and appreciates the support from Meridian Township and added, “We're still here. Everything you loved about TinkrLAB for the last 7 years. We’re out of the mall. We still have the same products, do the birthday parties, the scout troops, and projects for the older kids as well. We just added this additional component to it.”
