MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP - High Caliber Karting and Entertainment celebrated its expansion by allowing members of the community to step foot inside and try out its new activities on Sept. 18.
At the event, vendors were passing out free Monster energy drinks and ice cream.
With 25,000 square feet of new space after the closing of the Old Navy in Meridian Mall, High Caliber added the Double Clutch Sports Bar, throw bowling, archery and Nerf tag, axe throwing and more.
High Caliber Chief Fort Officer or more commonly known as President Jordan Munsters said their location is now a total of 105,000 square feet.
"We're one of the largest indoor family entertainment centers in the world, right here in Meridian Township," Munsters said.
Munsters also said they partnered with local vendors at the bar to provide 32 beers on tap and they partnered with around 60 local artists on murals, painting and interior design.
“We reinvest back locally because everyone we use are local vendors,” Munsters said. “These people who started off with ‘Hey I’d like to do business with you’ are now our best friends and I want our area to be more of that and we’re moving that direction.”
High Caliber Karting and Entertainment is located in the Meridian Mall and open Monday-Thursday from 5:00-10:00 pm, Friday and Saturday from 12:00-11:00 pm and Sunday from 12:00-6:00 pm.
