OKEMOS - The Harris Nature Center (HNC) is holding a series of summer day camps for kids from preschool through sixth grade. The camp will run from June 22 through Aug. 12, 2021.
HNC is offering one-day, two-day and four-day camps for the kids. The theme of the camps is conservation. Activities will include hikes, games and crafts. Each camper will receive a complimentary t-shirt.
To ensure the safety of campers, masks will be required indoors and when kids are within 6-feet outdoors. Each camp day will be two and half hours, with the option of a morning or afternoon session. Campers will receive their own set of camp supplies, and there will be meals unless medically necessary.
The summer camps will be held at 3998 Van Atta Road Okemos, Michigan. Prices vary from $25 to $100 depending on how many days kids are attending.
Registration can be done online at the Meridian Township Parks and Recreation registration system, or you can call 517.349.3866.
