MARKETPLACE ON THE GREEN - Marketplace On the Green, the recently-built Meridian Township farmers market located behind Meridian Mall, has made a proposal for a synthetic ice rink. On March 1, the proposal was received by the Meridian Township Clerk's Office.

The ice rink is proposed to be durable, easy to install, and will include a full board system to enclose the rink space with two gates. It will also have a storage container for the ice panels. The panels will be installed over a level concrete pad.

The proposed ice rink will cover 50' x 110' of the pavilion. It is estimated to be 40' w' x 90'-100' L in size and is planned to be a seasonal feature for Marketplace on the Green, accessible at various times of the year.
