MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP - The Meridian Senior Center is continuing to offer programs and classes online via Zoom while indoor and in-person activities and classes at the senior center are temporarily suspended. According to the Meridian Senior Center website, the senior center is currently closed for their events due to safety guidelines.
While the senior center is closed, it is still offering a mixture of different programs online, including virtual exercise classes.
According to the Meridian Senior Center's website, the senior center "[believes] that staying active is a key to physical and emotional well-being for everyone," and that it "works to provide relevant programs and services to meet the ever-changing lifestyle needs for older persons throughout the community."
These programs are available for anyone 55 and older, many of which are offered without cost to participants, according to the Meridian Senior Center website.
Anyone who would like to know more about these programs can find more information about them on the Meridian Senior Center website, http://meridianseniorcenter.weebly.com/virtual-programs.
