UPDATE: OKEMOS - Defye, the independent clothing label, is opening a bigger location in the Meridian Mall next to Victoria's secret, in the old Abercromibe & Kids location.

After a two and half week shut down, this new 43000 square foot headquarters space of Defye is 4 times the size of the older store. The whole room is decorated with a new design, taking about 65 gallons of oil to paint the wall. Defye is an acronym for " Define your own existence", it encourages everyone to bravely express their own opinion. Guests are able to write and draw signatures on the walls.

Michael S. Doherty, CEO of Defye clothing said, “We not only have a showroom about 2 to 3 times size of the older one, but we have a production facilities now located in the back. And we take yards of fabric, got a giant roll of fabric now. We will use them by the equipment stuff just got from New York. Then we will print everything in house. After they are done, they are brought to the front. And it actually made 100 percent by Defye, so it is pretty neat.”
