MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP - On Wednesday September 25th, a ribbon cutting ceremony for a new clinic has opened to the public in East Lansing on Abbott Road. The opening ceremony event began with a few words from Meridian Township Economic Development Director Chris Buck along with the CEO and Nurse Practitioner Tham Doan and she was joined with family, friends, and colleagues. Everyone in attendance got a tour of the building and view each room.
HOMTV spoke with CEO & Nurse Practitioner Tham Doan and she was felt really excited to be part of Meridian Township and said, "I'm really excited that will be able to provide self services that are needed in the community. We come with a concept that take care of the patients not on the body, mind, and soul. We want to take care of the patient as best as we possibly can."
Doan also explained the importance of her new business to the community by stating, "A lot of people in the community have a hard time to psychiatric care saying that some people would have to wait 4 to 6 months, and sometimes getting denied the care they need. I want to bring that to the community to meet that need because, we know that mental health is really important for a person and the community, and keep it healthy."
