MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP - Meridian Township along with Playmakers held the annual Meridian Mile race on Thursday, June 27th.

The race was the kick-off to Meridian Township's annual Celebrate Meridian Festival talking place on Saturday, June 29th.

"We want to do an event to run health and wellness, kick out the Celebrate Meridian Festival," said Marcy Kinder, Director of the Playmakers Fitness Foundation.

The event was family friendly, stroller-friendly and also dog friendly. With races available for all ages.
