LANSING - On June 6, the Lansing 5:01 presented "The Dam Jam", a riverfront music festival in Downtown Lansing.
Stretching over a mile of the Lansing river trail, the Dam Jam music festival featured a lineup of over 12 Michigan bands. Along the trail, there was also recreational activities such as a zip-lining, kayaking and live performances for residents to enjoy.
This is Lansing 5:01's first event's in 2019.
Lansing 5:01 was created by a group of young professionals from various industries that share a common love for Lansing. According to their website "The initiative is designed to showcase the best of Lansing to Lansing’s future. By bringing together college talent, young professionals, leaders in the community, and highlighting important amenities like opportunities for the arts, recreation, nightlight, and urban residential living."
