HASLETT - The Haslett Beautification Association held a planting day event on May 18 at the corner of Marsh Road, Lake Street and Reynolds Road to create the future Don Lillrose Memorial Garden in Haslett.
Members of the association removed all of the surface on the ground in 1.5 hours back in late April. The President of the Association Anne Perkins was in attendance along with staff, including Bradford Meehle, a veteran landscaper and a resident of Haslett.
Residents also came to show their support and give a helping hand for the project to attract residents in the community.
When everything is completed for the public, a dedication ceremony will take place on Saturday, June 29 at 10:30 am.
There were a total of 14 people who attended this event.
