HASLETT, MI - The morning of April 19th, EMS/Fire Personnel along with the area Hazmat Team responded to a chlorine discharge at the YMCA on Haslett Road. The leak occurred in a room near the YMCA pool, less than 20 gallons of Chlorine was spilled.

Three people were transported to the hospital and a number of others were treated at the site. The YMCA was closed until the fumes were cleared. The building re-opened Saturday at 7 a.m.
