UPDATE:
INGHAM COUNTY - In 2003, the U.S. Department of States stopped designating new passport acceptance facilities that also issued primary birth documentation. Effective last month, the Ingham County Parks Department will take over the responsibilities of passport applications.
"You need a driver's license, a birth certificate, and an application form. It will be $110 for the passport book, and $35 to complete the process. You can just show up on the walk-in basis, Monday through Friday, from 8:00am to 4:30pm," said Nicole Wallace, Office Clerk for Ingham County Parks Department.
