Wardcliff Mansfield Neighborhood
Break-ins

UPDATE: MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP - Four homes in the Wardcliff and Mansfield neighborhood in East Lansing were reportedly broken into between 2am and 4:45am on January 31.

Meridian Township Police said one of the residents reported hearing an individual enter their home and quickly exit after the resident called out to the individual to ask who was there.

While nothing was taken from the first home, police said some electronics and a purse were reported stolen from one of the other homes.

In each of the four break-ins, the suspect gained entry to the home through an unlocked front door. Police are now urging residents to always keep their windows and doors locked, even when they are at home.

Police are still investing and following up on leads, but said so far they have no one in custody.
