UPDATE:
MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP - With so many pedestrians using different means of transportation, Meridian Township has paved more pathways throughout the area. The inter-urban pathway is one of the newest additions in the township.
Julie Brixie, the Township Treasurer uses the pathway for exercise.
"It was really, really a great scenic corridor. There is so much natural beauty and is really an asset to Meridian Township," said Brixie.
The pathway is a good place for residents to walk, ride bikes, jog, and other outdoor activities. It stretches just over a mile long and is located between Marsh and Okemos Rd between Grand River and Haslett.
