MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP - The Communications Department is pleased to announce the completion of the renovations to the HOMTV studio facility. After many months of planning the department is ready to show the public its streamlined facility. Residents are invited to tour the facility on Wednesday, June 20th from 6:00 p.m to 8:00 p.m.

Guests will be able to watch behind the scenes of a live television production by student interns, explore news and information on the HOMTV website, act like a news anchor by reading from a teleprompter and take a walk through our alumni hall of fame. Light appetizers and beverages will be provided by Gellocake, Gordon Food Service, Kroger, Meijer, Tom’s Food Center and Tony Sacco’s Pizza.

These upgraded facilities streamline the production process for Meridian Township to bring information to its residents through social media and television. Together with student interns, the Communications
Department produces more than 400 programs each year and provides print media services for Meridian Township.
