UPDATE: MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP - In collaboration with local business, Reclaimed By Design, the Recycling Center will be expanding hours and services starting this month. Previously run for the township by Granger, the Recycling Center will now additionally be staffed by employees of the company Reclaimed By Design in order to stay open longer during the week and on Saturdays. The collaboration will also bring a facelift to the center by replacing aging, worn out, and handmade signs and directions with professionally designed boards and signs.

LeRoy Harvey, the Recycling and Energy Coordinator for Meridian Township says,"We're adding more recycling. We're trying to do the recycling more efficiently, and we're tapping into a local business that has some expertise in the recycling area to help staff the operation.”

Expanded hours started on the nineteenth of September and are 3 PM to 7 PM on Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays and 10 AM to 5 PM on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
These hours will run through November thirtieth when they will change to 11 AM to 4 PM on Tuesdays and Saturdays
