UPDATE: OKEMOS, MI - Paul Palmer, former Okemos football coach, has decided to continue his coaching career at Kalamazoo College. Palmer has joined the Hornets football staff as a Lineman's coach for the upcoming 2012 season.

"I really wasn't out looking for something, some high schools, some little colleges, and those things contacted me and I just continued to filter everything out," said Palmer. "I connected with coach Zorbo from Kalamazoo College and I let him know what I was doing, I went down there, and it all filtered out from there."

Palmer's official start date with the Hornets will be August 1st, since he is still currently coaching the Okemos girls lacrosse team.

"I'm happy to be there, it's going to be a good experience," said Palmer. "A different direction and a little change, so I'm excited about it."
