ORIGINAL STORY: EAST LANSING - Starting this year, all types of bags are being prohibited in Spartan Stadium. This includes bags of any kind, purses, camera cases, and binocular cases. Medical bags are allowed, however, in specific gates and the public can bring in a clear, one-gallon, plastic Ziploc bag. All medical and clear bags will be checked at the gate. According to MSU Police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor, it's all about safety. "It was recommended to us by Homeland Security," she said.
