HASLETT - A new pharmacy, Central Pharmacy, recently held their ribbon cutting ceremony in Haslett.

Central Pharmacy is an independent pharmacy which is able to dedicate to the elderly community by offering services such as free home delivery.

Pharmacist Edward Smith says working in an independent pharmacy allows staff to get to spend more time with patients.

"We can actually get to know the patients, actually ask the patient what their needs are and then on a one-on-one basis, we can sit down with them and find out exactly what kind of medications they are on," Smith said.

Central Pharmacy is located at 1620 Haslett Road.
