LANSING - “Every day emergency responders risk their lives on the side of the road to protect Michigan citizens".

Trooper Drew Spencer is one of these responders. After being involved in a life-threatening crash Trooper Spencer is now telling his story to help promote the "Save a Life. Give a Lane. It’s the Move Over Law" campaign.

The campaign promotes awareness and encourages compliance with the State's Emergency Vehicle Cation Law also known as the Move Over Law.

Traffic incidents are the number one cause of death for police officers and emergency responders.
