UPDATE:
EAST LANSING - The Michigan Flyer is looking to expand its services around the area after applying for a $1.5 million grant.
The company, owned by Indian Trails, applied for the grant in response to the many requests from its previous passengers. A number of people want hourly stops to places, like the stop in East Lansing.
Riders are pleased to hear the good news, noting that it will be much easier to gain boarding access without a large time constraint.
The Michigan Flyer also wants to add more stops in other places, as well, like Howell, Brighton, Ann Arbor, and the Detroit Airport.
