UPDATE:
OKEMOS - Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows hit movies this past weekend and it did killed the box office.
The last chapter in the saga drew an estimated 92.2 million dollars for an opening night showing, this making it one of Hollywoods biggest opening nights beating out Bateman Dark Knight and Twilights New Moon.
Harry Potter, Hermonie Granger and Ron Weasley where some of the many characters found waiting in line sipping pop and eating popcorn. But some wonder what it would be like to have a glass of wine or beer with their movie.
The Meridian Township board sent a request for the Michigan Liquor Commission for the new Cinema Grill to receive the liquor licenses that was up for grabs in the the township.
Cinema Grill will be taking the place of the currently AMC 6 sometime in October of this year and promises to provide movie goers with blockbuster hits and a menu full of options.
