EAST LANSING - The MSU Women's Council hosted "Take Back The Night" for another year. Take Back The Night is an event that fights to end domestic and sexual violence.

One act of providing a safe and comfortable space for survivors includes the Mid-Michigan Clothesline Projects. Survivors are able depict their story on a t-shirt which is hung in the Beaumont Field.

Sexual Assault Crisis Intervention Volunteer Anna Cumming hopes with MSU's size that the conversation of fighting sexual and domestic violence will continue.

"Ultimately, our goal is to just get a dialogue going about how we can stop sexual violence, domestic violence, and provide more resources for survivors," Cumming said.

Events of the day include drama-informed yoga, Comedy Coven show, a consent workshop, a speak-out where survivors can feel free to share their stories, a march to the District Court, topped off with a candlelight vigil.
