EAST LANSING - Michigan State University's College of Education is adding a new doctoral program next Fall.
It's a three year program called a "Doctor of Educational Leadership."
Candidates for the program are likely already working in education administration. The program is not research based, but based in practical application.
The program is designed to be completed by those who want to continue working, while earning their doctorate.
The program will feature group capstone projects for third year students, where they will implement practical solutions for problems in education around the state.
The program will take on about 15 doctoral students for the Fall.
