EAST LANSING - For Bath resident Shirley Schlegel, her fifteen minute drive to East Lansing was the most important thing on her list to her get her heath issues checked.
The company Lifeline Screening was available in East Lansing for residents to help prevent stroke and other catastrophic problems.
According to the ultra-technician at the screening, an average of 50 people get scheduled every day and 44 people showed up for the East Lansing location.
Since 1993, Lifeline Screening has provided health screening tests and Schlegel personally has been an avid supporter after it saved her husband's life.
"My husband found out that he had kidney stones after the screening so it was very helpful for us to discover it," Schlegel said.
From Monday to Friday, the company travels multiple locations in Michigan and visitors get an opportunity to get all 5 tests checked out in less than one hour. Patients can get their results within 21 business days after their appointment by email or mail.
