LANSING - Marcus Schrauben was only 21 years old when his life was taken on October 14. He was working a double shift at the Kentucky Fried Chicken on the 1600 block on Michigan Avenue in Lansing when an armed man shot him in the chest during a robbery attempt. Lansing police describe the gunman as a black male about 6 feet tall driving a burgundy sedan, similar to a Chevy Corsica.
"It's still a nightmare to me... I still think he is going to call me," said Marcus's grandmother, Deborah Kipper. The owners of KFC have posted a $10,000 reward for anyone who has information that leads to an arrest.
