UPDATE:
OKEMOS, MI - Senior center Taylor Moton had 30 points and 16 rebounds for Okemos, on Friday January 13th, in a CAAC Blue conference loss to Jackson.
"We want to get the ball down inside as much as we can, because I mean, Taylor is hard to stop," said Dan Stolz, Okemos Boy's Basketball coach. "We've got a weapon down there that nobody's got an answer for, and we aren't getting it to him enough."
Okemos started the game with a lot of momentum and a couple of quick baskets, but when Jackson hit two 3's in two possessions, the Chiefs couldn't keep up. Jackson's speed and intensity increased in every quarter, and although Okemos was able to get some buckets themselves, Jackson always answered back.
Jackson went on to beat Okemos 94-71, and a major goal for the Chiefs this week in practice will be to take better care of the basketball. Okemos travels to East Lansing this Friday night, the 27th.
