UPDATE: MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP - The "Kids Health and Wellness Expo" was held last month at the Meridian Mall. The event featured a variety of activities for the kids and families. This free event was designed to educate kids and parents on healthy eating and exercise programs.

A personal trainer at Michigan Athletic Club, Walter Crockett said, "the purpose of this expo is for fitness awareness getting kids active and moving and therefore create healthier lifestyle for them."

Okemos Modeling and Entertainment Group hosted the event, performed a fashion show for kids, and said about 2500 kids and families came to the expo.
