HASLETT - "Oh we won’t celebrate tonight. What we’ll do is wait util Thursday and then hopefully then again Saturday we’ll celebrate then. We want to stay focused until we get that district championship," said Wendy McCann, Haslett Volleyball Head Coach.
Haslett had a fight on their hands Tuesday night in the first round of the district playoffs.
Six one senior Heather Holton spearheaded the Haslett offense using her height to control her kills. Alison Rich and Megan Mowid provided assists, setting the ball for the hitters to drive through the Panther defense.
Dewitt would make the Vikings earn every game, keeping pace with them most of the night. Haslett closed with a sweep of Dewitt thus moving to round two of the playoffs.
Haslett will face East Lansing Nov. 7th at 5pm.
