MASON - This was a tough game for the Vikings overall. The biggest play from Haslett in the first half came by way of an interception that unfortunately yielded no points. Mason, would strike paydirt twice in the first half and looked to be in control of the game.

Halftime is when the Vikings found their stride and looked like they were finally into the game. Haslett stopped Mason from taking a 21 point lead with a huge 4th down stop inside their own ten yard line. Now, the ensuing possession saw Jake Tahaney get loose for the first Viking touchdown of the night. This put the score at 14-7 with just 11 minutes left in the game.

Mason quickly responded with a touchdown drive of their own and raised the score to 21-7 with 7 minutes left.

Tahaney got his second touchdown of the game on the ground and brought the game 21-14 with just 3 minutes left. His next touchdown came by way of the air and next was the onside kick.

Although the Vikings did recover, the Bulldogs defense did not break and Haslett would turn it over on downs.
