UPDATE: LAINGSBURG - Haslett fans made the drive to Kaingsburg for this softball showdown…as Haslett head coach Bill Crafts rallies his troops for battle.

To the fourth inning, Haslett already up two to one, when this smack to right field for a triple…that’s right a triple… extends Haslett’s lead to three to one…coach Crafts liking that.

Then the seventh is when things would turn around as Laingsburg squeaks this one past the fielder to load the bases!

Then check out this deep hit to center field to bring in the wolfpack to within one!

Same inning now…a hit right down the foul line past third, the game now tied at three! We go to extras.

This is when the heartbreak comes…ninth inning, with one on base for Laingsburg, solid contact here, and that would do it!

Laingsburg all smiles in this one as they win four to three in a thriller.

After the game, Haslett head coach Bill Crafts talked about the little things.

“We are a young team. We just have to keep working hard and get rid of the little mistakes and we’ll get there, we’ll get there," said coach Crafts.
