MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP - The Marathon at the Haslett Road and Marsh Road intersection is currently under renovation. It is getting a large overhaul, which includes a 6,622 sq. ft. facility, as well as new gas pumps and an improved auto service portion.
“To me, the biggest thing is that it’s one of the largest revitalization projects at that four corners at Haslett and Marsh.” Said Amber Clark, Meridian Township’s Neighborhoods and Economic Development Director.
“It’s an entire upgrade to the facility and it’ll include having takeout options,” said Clark.
While residents are currently not able to get gas from the gas pumps, the repair shop is currently still open during this phase of the project. The repair shop will be closed to the public once the renovation for the service station and the gas pumps have been completed.
For any questions about the project, residents can contact Meridian Township Neighborhoods & Economic Development Director Amber Clark at 517.853.4568 or clark@meridian.mi.us.
