LANSING - A new school year is approaching, and some kids are not able to get the back-to-school supplies that they need. That's why the Lansing office of Child and Family Charities is currently accepting donations of any and all school supplies.

Their fundraiser is called the "Fill a Backpack Campaign", and the goal is to help provide at-risk and neglected children with all of the necessities before going back to school.

The list of supplies is extensive, including pencils, pens, notebooks, and binders.
The success of the charity and the campaign continues to grow.

According to Demphna Krikorian, the Director of Development, the charity "...provides services to over 6,000 abused, neglected, and at-risk kids and families annually..."

The main drop off day for donations is August 20th, but online donations are always accepted.
