MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP - Do you always manage to somehow get cabin fever every winter?

The snow doesn't bother you as much as being cooped up inside all the time.

Meridian Township's Family Winter Sports Weekend will keep you out of the house and active during the snowy months!

Here are some of the events happening:

Winter Farmers Market
Dates: Saturday
January 2 & 16; February 6 & 20
Time: 10 am - 2 pm
Location:J C Penney Corridor, Meridian Mall
Enjoy fresh, home grown, homemade goodies at this indoor market.

Cross Country Ski Class at Harris Nature Center
Dates: Saturdays,
In January & February (More details to come)
Time: 9:30 - 11:30 am
Location: Harris Nature Center
Price: $15 with own equipment
$20 with HNC equipment
Learn cross country skiing with your family and friends!

Snowshoe Class at Harris Nature Center
Dates: Saturdays,
January 16 or February 6
Time: 1 -3 pm
Location: Harris Nature Center
Price: $15 with own equipment
$20 with HNC equipment

Moonlight Sledding at North Meridian Road Park
Dates: Saturdays,
January 28, February 4
Time: 6 - 8:30 pm
Location: North Meridian Road Park
Price: Free
Bring your sled, toboggan, family, and friends to enjoy this age-old fun past time - sledding. To warm up between runs, enjoy a sip of hot chocolate at the bonfire.
