UPDATE:
MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP - The event hosted by the Mid Michigan Environmental Action Council was held on Saturday, November 10 at the Tetratech offices. Volunteers camer out to the offices to help gather bugs from local streams and collect data about the species collected. While collecting data, the volunteers learned how stream health can be determined by the species that are found there.
Over sixty volunteers showed up for the annual event and were able to help the organization find out the health of streams where the species were found.
If you would like to volunteer for any of the upcoming Bug ID Days, you can visit the Facebook page of Mid-MEAC or visit www.midmeac.org.
