• Rob Nedds, the founder, cuts the ribbon on Coast to Coast Cabinets' latest location

MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP - On November 18th, Coast to Coast Cabinets opened a new location at 2398 Jolly Rd. Their opening started off with a ceremonial ribbon cutting, a time honored tradition well over one hundred years old.

Coast to Coasts Cabinets is a Michigan based national company that got their start in 2009. The store sells primarily cabinets and counter-tops. They are a local company with their headquarters in Okemos.

Founder Robert Nedds tells us how he started the company, “I started the company back in 2009, we started during the economic down turn. I was working for another company that went out of business. Couldn’t find a job in the kitchen and bath market so we started our own company to provide for my family. Since then it’s taken off.”

And taken off it has having expanded out of Michigan to multiple different states.

Robert Nedds shares some advice for anyone who would also like to start a business “If you have a dream, chase after it. Don’t stop until you grab a hold of it. There is nothing more fulfilling than that”
