MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP, MICHIGAN - On December 12, residents of Meridian Township gathered to celebrate Christmas in the Meridian Historical Village. Included in the village were Christmas-themed historical buildings, cookies and Santa.
People had the opportunity to walk around the village and see the amazing decorations, talk to Santa and become informed about the Township back in the 1800s.
A volunteer stated of the event, "It's going excellent. This is our first big event since this summer and we couldn't be more pleased with it." She stated these events take around two months to plan and the volunteers were ecstatic about the outcome.
After the festivities, there was a tree lighting. Many people were able to see the Meridian Historical Village prepare for Christmas this year. Here at Ho-Ho-HOMTV, we wish you a Merry Christmas.
